Eyes: Due to his constant nightmares, he sleeps less than two hours every night, giving him huge bags, and his eyes are permanently dilated.

Personality: Drang is very lonely and don’t want company of other ponies. He spends his days in the house of his childhood, back when he was happy, and hangs hard to his memories. Sometimes, he goes upon the Everfree Forest’s edge and scares the young ponies by roaring and shouting. He does this to keep them far from the forest, because he doesn’t want other ponies to suffer what he endured. He voluntary acts like a jerk towards other ponies and avoid friendship, because he does not want to revive what he lived. Nopony talk to him, and he’s fine with this. Drang visits his sister’s and his best friend’s grave every single day, bringing flowers, tears, and regrets with him.

Bio: Rainbow Drang never knew his parents. He was born in a cloud house, above the ground. His parents were gone, but he did not remember them. For him, there was only he, and his elder sister, Bright Skies, who was 15 years old and had to work hard for her brother. The two of them lived in peace. When Rainbow Drang was at school, he met a little earth filly, named Dreaming Heart. They quickly became friends, exploring Ponyville, wandering everywhere. The little pegasus colt even gained his cutie mark by showing Dreaming Heart storm clouds from the Weather Factory and jumping on them, creating big lightning bolts.

Drang was the most daring colt in Cloudsdale, and he always wanted to go to dangerous places like the Everfree Forest. His greatest dream was to be an explorer or a Wonderbolt. When he was 8, he went with Dreaming Heart at Froggy Bottom Bog, in the depth of the Everfree Forest. He heard there was a monster there and wanted to discover it. Instead of a hydra, he found a cocatrice who turned a frog into stone under Drang’s scared eyes. The little pegasus ran away as fast as he could with Dreaming Heart, but the earth filly fell in the muddy water, and tried to swim to escape. Suddenly, the cocatrice appeared in front of her, turned her into stone, and Dreaming Heart disappeared into the mud. Rainbow Drang shouted, the cocatrice turned around and the little colt quickly flew away in tears.

Back to his house, he went to his sister, weeping and telling her what happened. Bright Skies decided to go and save Dreaming Heart; she kissed her little brother and told him she’ll be back soon with the filly. Drang stayed in his house and spent his night waiting for his sister. But even after two days, Bright Skies did not come back. Drang decided to go to the Everfree Forest to look for his sister. He found her smashed to pieces by a manticore. This terrible sight made him scream, over and over. He rushed to the Ponyville hospital and told he needed help because his sister was all covered in blood. The doctor came quickly to help the colt, but when he saw Bright Skies’ body, he already knew it was too late. Rainbow Drang had never forgotten the sight of his sister’s corpse and this second traumatism caused him nightmares every single night.

Today, Rainbow Drang is lonely and egoist. He does not want any friend, because his greatest fear is to lose them again. He stays in his house, upon the Everfree Forest, scaring young ponies to keep them far away from this terrible place. Every single day, Rainbow Drang visits Bright Skies and Dreaming Heart’s grave, weeping and shouting in pain. But he only cries when he is alone. He doesn’t want to look like a miserable pony. He considers himself the only responsible of the catastrophe, and doesn’t want any pony to feel pity for him. That’s why he acts like a jerk: he wants everypony to hate him and leave him alone with his memories, without trying to be friend with him.
